Founders favorites for Spring & Summer

At his favorite lunch spot, Calle P, in his hometown of Stockholm, our founder, Philip, selects his favorites from both the permanent collection and the upcoming 03 DROP. Over a two-course meal, we discussed Giabe’s vision: to break away from traditional seasonal collections and instead integrate every new piece into the permanent collection.

“I believe clothing should be an investment—something you build over time by choosing fewer, high-quality pieces rather than chasing fleeting trends. We don’t produce items that are strictly seasonal or trend-driven,” Philip explains.

The First Release of Drop 03

The brushed wool jacket in black is an extension of our wool/cashmere jackets in a heavier cloth, a hybrid between blazer and jacket for both formal and casual outings. Made in our signature straight cut and unconstructed design, it offers a relaxed but yet refined fit that effortlessly bridges the gab between smart and casual wear.

- "We knew early on that we wanted to add a black option to our heavier jackets to be worn for fall, winter and spring. This jacket represent what Giabe stands for in the best possible way both in terms of look, feel and form."

The brushed wool jacket will be released in the end of April, but already available for preorder.

The Taupe suit - The versatile option

Since the launch of our first DROP 01 last year, the Taupe Suit has remained a cornerstone of our permanent collection. Crafted from premium wool, it’s designed for year-round wear and offers versatility—easily styled as a full suit or worn separately by pairing the jacket or trousers with other pieces.

“For me, the Taupe Suit is just as essential as a classic black suit. I’ve never been drawn to bold colors or flashy designs, but a taupe suit strikes the perfect balance—elegant, understated, yet far more interesting than a darker alternative.”
